Rapper Lil Mama jumped on stage at the end of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ performance of “Empire State of Mind” at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 13, 2009. At the end of the song, Lil Mama climbed on the stage and posed beside the Jay-Z and Keys. Her appearance was not planned nor was she invited.
