In August 2009, Priest fell and hit his head on a wall during a mock sword-fight in “Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Tutorial”, a show at the Magic Kingdom. The 47-year-old performer cut his scalp and broke vertebra in his neck. Priest was hospitalized and moved out of the intensive care unit on Monday, August 10, 2009.
